As we had forecast in the beginning of 2004, the major dental manufacturers continued their onslaught of marketing dental laboratory produced restorations directly to your dental office. As the manufacturers continue to introduce these products directly to the dental profession at breakneck speed, we in our laboratory have developed a testing and research position to help weed through these products to avoid "Guinea Pig Syndrome" in the dental offices we serve.
Common sense always prevails when it comes to treatment planning.
While we find that many of the new materials and products being
introduced have their place in the arsenal of treatment options,
we warn that selective placement is imperative to long term successful
performance. In most cases we find our Dentist customers receptive
to our opinion, which is derived from a broad base of practical
experience, with open arms.
